If we introduce advertising in the future, we will update this Policy accordingly and ensure compliance with privacy laws. We may show contextual or internal promotions (such as promoting certain stories or features) based on your usage, but we do not share your personal data with advertisers for independent use.
Third-Party Analytics: We do use third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics) which may set their own cookies or similar identifiers to collect non-personal information about your use of our site over time. Account Deletion: You may delete your Storynest.ai account at any time by contacting customer support or using any self-service account deletion feature we provide. Deleting your account will remove your profile and personal information from view. However, content you have posted (stories, comments, etc.) may remain on the Service if it has been incorporated into our content library or used by others (for example, if you participated in a collaborative story, your contributions might remain unless removed by us or the other author). We will also retain certain information after account deletion if necessary for legal obligations or our legitimate interests (see Data Retention below).
Opt-Out of Marketing Communications: If we send you promotional or marketing emails, you will have the option to unsubscribe or opt out. You can do this by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email, or adjusting your notification settings in your account (if available). Note that you will still receive transactional or service-related emails even if you opt out of marketing. For example, we will still send password reset emails, important account or policy updates, and other communications necessary for the Service.
Do Not Sell My Info: Storynest.ai does not sell personal data to third parties. If in the future we consider selling user data (for example, in the context of a business deal), we will comply with applicable “Do Not Sell” regulations and provide appropriate opt-outs. As of the effective date, this is not applicable since we do not sell data.
Privacy Rights (California/Delaware and Others): Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional privacy rights. For example, Delaware residents are assured of the right to have an online privacy policy (which this is) that discloses the categories of data collected and how it’s shared. 7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For example, we will keep your account information while your account is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter if you delete your account, in case you decide to restore it (if that feature is offered) or in case we need the information for legal compliance. Content you create on the platform (stories, etc.) may be retained indefinitely as part of our content library, unless it violates our Terms or you specifically request its removal (and we are able to remove it without undue impact on other users or our systems). Even after you remove content or delete your account, some copies of your content may remain in backup storage for a limited period (not visible to others), or may be retained if others have interacted with it (such as quoted or commented on by others).
We also retain information as needed to comply with our legal obligations – for example, records of transactions may be kept for accounting and tax purposes, and logs might be retained for security and compliance (such as records of consents given). When we no longer have a legitimate need or obligation to retain your personal data, we will securely dispose of it or anonymize it.
8. Children’s Privacy
Storynest.ai is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use our Service or provide any information to us. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.
If you are between 13 and 18, you should use Storynest.ai under the supervision of a parent or guardian, especially when it comes to participating in monetization or financial transactions. We encourage parents of minors to educate their kids about online safety and privacy, and to monitor their internet usage.

Additionally, Storynest.ai does not knowingly market or advertise any prohibited products or services to minors. Delaware law prohibits certain types of online marketing to children under 18 (such as advertising alcohol, tobacco, firearms, etc. on websites directed at children)). While our platform is not directed at young children, we will comply with such laws and avoid any inappropriate marketing practices.

Storynest.ai is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the U.S., be aware that your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our servers or service providers are located.
